Greens to campaign on Welfare Rights in May

At its February local party meeting Broxtowe Green Party formally agreed to place campaigning against cuts in welfare rights at the heart of their campaign. Noting the slew of different Tory-LibDem attacks to benefit rates and entitlements, the Greens argue that many of these are self defeating, costing more in the long run, or take away rights that people have paid national insurance for.
